Corporate Social Responsibility (C.S.R.)

We take our CSR commitments seriously;

We comply with the ‘Responsible Business Alliance’ (formerly EICC) Code of Conduct.

The RBA Code of Conduct is a set of standards on social, environmental and ethical issues in the electronics industry supply chain. The standards set out in the Code of Conduct reference international norms and standards including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ILO International Labor Standards, OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, ISO and SA standards, and many more.

 

We have also been issued EcoVadis CSR ‘Silver’ Award;

The EcoVadis methodology is at the core of their CSR analysis system, covering 21 criteria across four themes of Environment, Fair labor practices, ethics/fair business practices, and supply chain. The methodology is built on international CSR standards including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000, covering 150 spend categories and 140 countries.Salom Electric (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. This award places SECC among the top 30% of performers evaluated by EcoVadis.

 

In addition, we support our OEM’s individual factory audits. Whilst the CSR elements are typically based on the RbA code of conduct, they may also include custom requirements specific to each OEM. We welcome the opportunity to review accordingly.
